Asthma & Allergies Care

Asthma is a disease that affects your lungs. It causes repeated episodes of wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness, and coughing. Asthma can be controlled by taking medicine, knowing the triggers that can cause an attack, and having regular maintenance visits with your provider.
    • A New diagnosis of Asthma may require your child to be seen more often for the provider to establish the right plan or care and treatment.
    • Controlled Asthma requires biannual maintenance visits to assure your child remains controlled.
    • Exacerbation of your child's asthma may require an office visit to multiple visits to monitor your child's breathing and the effectiveness of medication.
